ELIGIBLITY REQUIEMENTS: 

  • Students 18 + pursuing studies in music, other fine arts, or event management.
  • Currently attending school in Jacksonville or St. Augustine as a Bright Futures Scholarship recipient during the 2017-2018 academic school year. 

FESTIVAL INTERN ESSAY CONTEST DETAILS / PRIZE: 

 

The Student Experience and Danny Wimmer Presents are providing a Florida Lottery Bright Futures Scholarship recipient with an opportunity to participate in a live experience at Welcome To Rockville 2017.  Florida recipients of the Bright Futures scholarships are encouraged to apply. One winner will be chosen for an opportunity to intern for a weekend at Florida's largest rock festival Welcome to Rockville April 29th - 30th 2017. The Bright Futures Scholarship program is funded by the Florida Lottery.

 

To apply, submit a 500 word essay on the following;

 

Why live music and art are important; how it creates a positive change and how the Bright Futures Scholarship has enhanced your college experience in a positive way.
